【学术活动】我室承办的国际新刊Advanced Biotechnology《前沿生物技术》正式上线！
近日，由我室承办的国际新期刊Advanced Biotechnology 前沿生物技术（ABT）官网、稿件处理系统和公众号先后上线，标志着ABT正式创刊，开始面向全球从事生物技术相关研究的科学家公开征集稿件。这是我室首次承办开放获取的国际高起点期刊，创刊号计划于2023年10月正式出版。
期刊简介
Advanced Biotechnology (ABT) 是由中山大学主办，中山大学生命科学学院、水产动物疫病防控与健康养殖全国重点实验室、中国-东盟海水养殖技术“一带一路”联合实验室承办，全球知名出版商Springer Nature合作出版的高起点国际期刊。
Advanced Biotechnology采取同行评议、开放获取的方式出版发行，致力于发表生物技术领域的高水平前沿研究，包括生物、农业和医学技术领域的原创发现、新方法和重大技术创新成果。期刊旨在传播突破性的生物技术和方法，引领生物技术领域的国际前沿。
欢迎投稿的主题包括但不限于：多组学技术、医学生物技术、农业生物技术、生物信息学、生命科学中的人工智能、化学生物技术、生物医学工程、计算生物医学、分子与细胞工程、合成生物学、系统生物学、疫苗、转化医学技术、遗传和基因组技术等。
编委团队由来自中国、美国、英国、法国、加拿大、新加坡、韩国、波兰等10个国家和地区 50 多名前沿领域科学家组成。
同行评议、开放获取、快速出版(14 天内完成第一轮评审)，为高水平论文开设“绿色通道”快速发表；前3年所有论文免收出版费。
2023年5月中山大学与Springer Nature正式签署合作协议，6月 ABT期刊编委会成立，7月 ABT期刊网站上线，7月20日投稿系统启用，首期创刊号计划于2023年10月正式出版。
发展目标：5年内进入国际top期刊行列，打造中国本土前沿生物技术期刊旗舰品牌。

INTRODUCTION
Advanced Biotechnology (ABT) is a peer-reviewed open access journal affiliated to School of Life Sciences, State Key Laboratory of Biocontrol, China-ASEAN Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Marine Aquaculture Technology, Sun Yat-Sen University and published by Springer Nature.
Advanced Biotechnology is dedicated to publish cutting-edge research in biotechnology, including original findings, novel methods and techniques in the fields of biological, biomedical, agricultural, and environmental sciences.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to: multi-omics technology, medical biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, bioinformatics, machine intelligence in life sciences, chemical biotechnology, biomedical engineering, computational biomedicine, molecular and cell engineering, synthetic biology, systems biology, vaccines, translational medicine technology, genetic and genomic technology.
Provide a platform to advance knowledge, techniques and strategies in biotechnology by covering all the relevant fields of biosciences and biotechnology.
Served by a dedicated international editorial board, constituting by more than 60 leading scientists from the Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, United States, Canada, France, Singapore, South Korea, and Poland etc., to give thorough swift editorial response.
Rapid peer-review process with a first decision within 14 days. ABT has a fast track for manuscripts of exceptional quality, which will be assessed with a decision in 3-5 working days. For the first three years, APC is fully sponsored by Sun Yat-Sen University.
ABT website and manuscript submission system were fully launched in July 2023, and first issue is scheduled to publish in October 2023.
